at Nations Church
We offer support for children and adolescents with additional needs and their families to go to church if they desire. We believe that all families and children should have equal access to faith and a church community. Heroes Academy seeks to remove the barriers that may prevent these families from coming to church.
Heroes Academy support is available at Nations Church Sunday Services at Myaree, Belmont, Port Kennedy and Bunbury locations.Â

Weekly Service Booking are essential and links will be opened weekly from 9am Monday to 9am Thursday.
If there is a change in circumstances and you are no longer able to attend, please kindly cancel your service booking so that we can make room for other families.

If your family has not been registered for a Heroes Academy Sunday Service prior, please complete our Expression of Interest form and our team will get in touch.
Expression of Interest is not a booking request and does not guarantee the immediate provision of Heroes Academy support due to limited spaces and needs assessment.

Nations Church Myaree

Heroes Academy operates alongside Nations Church‘s Upper and Lower Primary School program during Nations Church Myaree’s 11am and 5pm services on Sundays.
This is suitable for children in years 1-5.
Weekly Booking is essential and places are limited.
There is a purpose built, fully equipped sensory room that adjoins our primary school-aged kids program room. With many specialised, sensory resources, we can ensure that children’s individual needs are cared for. We also have a fully automated change table to ensure that children’s toileting needs are met with dignity and respect.
In addition, we also have a low sensory room adjoining the main church auditorium which allows adolescents and adults to access our main church services in a way they feel safe and cared for.
To help your child settle in, we recommend showing them our Sunday Social Story prior to coming.
Nations Church Belmont

We have one to two dedicated Heroes Academy volunteers who are on-call to help all children with additional needs at Nations Church Belmont 11am service.
This is suitable for children in years 1-5.
Weekly Booking is essential and places are limited*.
There is a selection of sensory aids and noise reducing headphones in a dedicated Heroes Academy sensory zone to assist your child during the service.
To help your child settle in, we recommend showing them our Sunday Social Story prior to coming.
Nations Church Port Kennedy
